   @MayInToronto -- I don't know any store where there isn't an employee standing around waiting for a customer to show up. You made this list like you're a banker and need the money and not like any retail service worker.

   Cash really is all about privacy and not paying extra to businesses that ENABLE the use of the electronic payments.

   Cash is about making sure the artist is paid and not giving the cut to the corporations.

     @jeffowski There's a concept called the "cost of cash" in retail businesses.

     You have to:
     - Wait for the purchaser to count out cash
     - Have the cashier count out the right amount of change.
     - Cash accounting every night.
     - Make sure you have sufficient change.
     - Keep that cash safe from robberies.
     - Deposit the money safely on a nightly basis.
     - Deal with forgeries.

     POS systems tend to save businesses money. The sign is really for avoiding taxes.
