     @yakkoj OH YEAH all four outlets AND the switches were back-stabbed. Fuck back-stabbing. Thankfully they were still pretty tight but I screwed the wires down REALLY TIGHT on the new ones.

     One outlet might have been slightly dangerous, the hot and neutral slots had green around them from corrosion. Luckily nothing high-current was plugged in there but I might want to use a space heater some day!

     @zorinlynx at least you got to them before they became dangerous.

     I had one outlet that turned out to be completely worn out. So when I went to replace it, it was also wired up through those back connections, and THOSE were all loose.

     It took my UPS complaining of a wiring fault to get me to do the right thing.

     Outlets and switches are such a small part of walls but holy shit does it make a difference when you replace old grimy ones with new ones. Totally refreshes a room.
