   @lizzie @nyx @Arcana @quasar Know multiple people who have done it, getting rich is just not a skill most people have. If you have it you definitely should move here. Having enough money to be comfortable is good.

     @nyx @Arcana @quasar once got in an argument with a dutch lib who said she really wanted to move to the us bc even though its better to be poor in europe, as an american i have no idea what its like to live in a country where its hard to get rich and thats whats really important and why the US is better and ???? youre not getting rich here either worstie idk what to tell you

     @Arcana @quasar experience has taught me over and over again that foreigners almost unilaterally have the dumbest possible takes on how fucked the US actually is (from the perspective of living in it, obviously not how U$ imperialism affects people abroad)
