     I assume it's subsidized through some laundering scheme in order to push propaganda on the populace. It probably does originate from the government, then to Israel, ukraine,, etc, until it finds its into the movie investors' pockets. They ultimately make money, though they take a paper loss. The reason they make money is because they wouldn't have the money but for the scheme. They keep some of it — the money that's not invested. That's their commission. The money they invested was never really theirs. Meanwhile, the powers that be get to use our money to pay for their propoganda.

     These people have no self awareness. Even leftoid libtards don't use "the current year" anymore because it's such a stupid thing to say and has been BEATEN TO DEATH as a stake platitude years ago. Wasn't most of the Nu Star Wars directed by a feminist, which is why everyone hates it for its Mary Sue franchise killing garbage? I've not seen one of these since episode 3 and have no plans to watch them.
     
     I will say that I like the originals, and that there's at least 3 hours of good cinema in episode 1,2,3. Someday I may watch a fan supercut where a bunch of this Nu Star Wars is remixed to remove most of the poz and franchise wrecking things.
