Red Dead Redemption 2 has difficult controls. why can't they just display what I should press? sometimes hitting a guy is F, sometimes it's left click. middle click is senses, but also inventory if you move the mouse?
at least it's a great horse simulator :SkadiHorsie:

@kaia The Red Dead games, just like the GTA games, are completely designed around game controllers, it's not worth insisting on using mouse & kb unless you /really/ want to.

@kaia I use an Xbox controller, but the quality of Playstation-, Xbox - or even non-China-junk cheaper controllers like the Logitech F710/F310 is roughly the same, they're all fine.
If you can, try borrowing a few spare controllers from someone else and test which one best fits your hand size, which layout of the buttons vs the little analog sticks is most comfortable for you and has a weight that feels good in your hands.

@locus yeah, or down a steep ravine or up an actual glacial mountain. at least the horse AI keeps it from jumping down heights if the rider's not stupid.

@kaia I have a hard time believing a horse would be willing to gallop along a train rail; too easy to get a hoof caught between the planks
