I need a firehose of holy water for all this absolutely technosatanic shit I just spent the past hour combing over. Ted was more right than he ever could have known.
@Hoss I would rather this question be decided by technocrats wielding their slave army versus methed-up analog freedom fighters like a cool sci-fi movie, but the Wikipedia article is basically a Reddit thread on free will.
@Hoss > In a recent article in this journal, Parker Crutchfield argues that if moral bioenhancement ought to be compulsory, as some authors claim, then it ought to be covert, i.e., performed without the knowledge of the population that is being morally enhanced. Crutchfield argues that since the aim of compulsory moral bioenhancement is to prevent ultimate harm to the population, compulsory moral bioenhancement is best categorized as a public health issue, and should therefore be governed by the norms and values that apply in public health settings.
He’s right that it’s a „public health“ issue, but the whole concept is already totalitarian.
@mja@Hoss The fact that it says Western Michigan University means there was a nonzero chance I was in the same room as him when I was on one of my Kalamazoo outings many moons ago. Chilling.
You can't fix a psychopath. Look at that face and the things he says and try to tell me with a straight face that he hasn't buried bodies all over the state.
part of ((their)) beliefs is that since the kabbalah is being taught openly, knowledge and technology will increase and people will either convert or be eradicated. Technology is kinda part of their whole scheme to make everyone "ONE" again and return to the creator.
One thing is true, knowledge and tech has exploded as well as mystical experiences and practitioners in the last century, especially the last few decades. It is no coincidence.
