   Thinking about when I was off at the Post Office posting my Christmas cards and two fine English men, like a bar of soap had a thumb for a head, were talking about how you can’t say Christmas anymore “because it’ll upset the Muslims” there was some mention of Sharia law and how they’d get arrested for saying black coffee next, and I just walked past them to the counter and wished Mr Khan who ran said post office “Salam alaikum and a merry Christmas Mr Khan” and he wished the same back.

     I asked him his plans with his family for the Christmas season and he told me he was looking forward to a few days off and how he was cooking a turkey this year to get in the spirit of the season.

     I sincerely doubt the two guys who looked like someone had put a Fred Perry on a Wheetabix were in any way persuaded that they’d been talking bollocks. But it cheered me right up

     @artemesia a Fred Perry polo shirt is kinda the unofficial uniform for middle aged racists in England and with their baldy heads that’s sort of what they resemble. Also in the 1980’s in the UK there was a Weetabix ad with weetabix skinheads (before neo-nazis totally co-opted the look) who looked like this

     I know whar wheetabix are, but I can't figure out the fred perry reference. Is the idea that someone dressed up a wheetabix in a fred perry outfit?
