     @HistoPol @hayo Yes, but as we have seen in countless countries there appears to be no system that works any better - The US is a Republic & has an elected President & a rock solid constitution & yet it is still heading towards imploding at a horrendous rate of knots !

     To be clear , I am not arguing that our system is any better , simply that it is not actually any worse when you look at the ins and outs of it.

     I agree with your assessment of the US. It is not called "#TheAmericanExperiment" for no reason. There, however, it is about people, or rather one person, and a complete failure at #denazification in the 1940's (#RachelMaddow presenrs: #Ultra and her new book, #Prequel.)

     The #UK has been on a downward slope for decades, despite an exemplary queen.
     The last idiocy on a national level having been #Brexit.

     @HistoPol @mina @thejuicemedia @hayo I haven’t & my personal view is that a few big families in the US hold the balance of actual power, they simply are more discrete than our royal family.

     How do you stop ultimate power corrupting ultimately? Humans appear unable to cope with peace & prosperity- The Matrix was not too far off the mark IMHO.
