     its not ready yet but if they stay true to there word it could be a valid alternative to things like matrix.

     the answer to that is a bit nuanced, keet itself is currently closed with a "totally going to be opensource next year stance" by the devs.

     otoh the underlying foundational software is open source and actively maintained by the same team :

     don't install keet yet , except for curiosity or until open source

     do checkout holepunch and what it can do.
