     I've muted a bunch of people, all from other servers, after looking through their posts and finding nothing of value.
     I agree with William about echo chambers, but Feral Housewife brings up a good point about posting rates, it does drown out a lot of other stuff. I only have so much time to spend dicking around on NAS...
     But the home feed is sort of a solution to this, I can get through my follows first and then wade through the Live Feed.

     To be fair, the right way to use the #fediverse seems to be to block/mute content you do not wish to see.

     If Leftism is irrelevant to her, then she should mute/block those accounts that promote it.

     NAS mutes a lot of instances too, and that will fuck up a thread. You can't see the replies of anyone you're not following. Plus, over there, follows from muted instances don't show up in your notifications. You have to go into your account menu to see them and manually accept the follows. NAS doesn't tell you this.

     I think I now understand what Adam was complaining about. I follow 1k accounts but they are mostly on servers I think you're fediblocked from. Most of them rarely post but following so many keeps my personal feed lively. I don't think I could get that experience on NAS. If I tried, it would probably be a lot of memes from the same people. The problem isn't NAS but that the fediblocks mean your diets get too concentrated.
