     @p @graf @dirb there is a Mexican restaurant where the menu is in Spanish and the only person in the building who speaks any English is the waitress and even then you're going to have to point and use hand gestures.
     
     Their food is delicious.

Maybe next year I'll make one myself and hope I don't hate it. Or my wife doesn't hate it. Because that's a lot of ingredients and kitchen time wasted if you hate it in the end, kinda intimidating. I believe I'm missing some kitchen tools as well, and that's a deal-breaker.

     If you're just getting into Christmas puddings I'd recommend this recipe. It's not a "traditional" British pudding, not as heavy, light on the candied fruit, so you don't have to age it a month/baste it in rum like you do with traditional puddings. But it makes for a very nice introduction and is much easier.
