   @hankg I think it will automatically look more widely if it's not on the instance. This book isn't being published until next year, so probably isn't anywhere yet, apart from the official databases which aren't open.

     @ramblingreaders I’m on the main instance which didn’t come up with anything. That may have changed since I did this search. Is there a mechanism for it to query other databases or is that a standard thing it does when searching ISBN?

     @hankg you can search by ISBN on #BookWyrm, just put it in the search box. If nothing is found on your instance, click the link to search other instances and open databases.

     BookWyrm people, what is the proper way to add this book to the library on my server? I don't want to do it manually since there is already an ISBN number and I want to import it from some server based on that. Unfortunately it only seems to allow searching by ISBN with a camera to read a barcode. Add to my virtual reading list for the time being anyway :) #BookWyrm

     @hankg that particular book hasn't been published yet, so is unlikely to be on any instance or open database. So go ahead and create it manually.
