If I may make a suggestion:
If typing is the issue, you could use the auto-substitution function in MS Word for self-defined abbreviations (useful for scientific papers 😉, too) and if you change to another instance where they set a higher character limit, which might be very useful in your case, thus reducing the no. of threads, you can benefit from that, too.
