     They are future cat ladies, but I think the issue is that they didn't take marriage any more seriously than leasing a car they thought was "fun" to drive. They think they can just trade it in when it final makes a clank clank noise or gets a little rust on the bumper.
     
     See I grew up watching my great grandfather take care of my greatgrandmother who was bedridden with rheumatoid arthritis. I later watched my grandmother take care of my grandfather who had complications from a heart attack plus Parkinsons. This was a huge influence on how I view marriage and my choice of spouse.
     
     Life isn't easy or prefect, and part of the vow is that you will take care of each other, even when it's hard and inconvenient. People have bad days, months, years, and even decades. You don't just run.

     @yukiame @Humpleupagus you aren't far off describing what they say. But the men in question have all been fiercely loyal and worked their asses off. I've been blunt with these women and get the same responses from them akin to "I'm a catch, I'll find someone who treats me right and can raise my kids"...

     I'm married too, but ready to bury bodies for each other here I don't get it
