See I grew up watching my great grandfather take care of my greatgrandmother who was bedridden with rheumatoid arthritis. I later watched my grandmother take care of my grandfather who had complications from a heart attack plus Parkinsons. This was a huge influence on how I view marriage and my choice of spouse.
Life isn't easy or prefect, and part of the vow is that you will take care of each other, even when it's hard and inconvenient. People have bad days, months, years, and even decades. You don't just run.
