     Imagine Ben Shapiro's fake dead baby, but less obvious. Imagine it coming down to some random asshole on the internet to say "yes, this is fake, and here's a pile of evidence that supports it." Imagine the fakes being so good that mass media can routinely pump them out and trick normal people into buying them.

     @Tony @disarray It should be uniform except in regions with poor saturation. You should still kinda see the image - separating signal from noise is never perfect - but other than a bit of an overlay of the original image it should kinda look like garbage.
     
     If the image is compressed, you should see compression artifacts (like here).
     
     You should absolutely *not* see enough new information to fill out an entirely new image.

     Wow, but the AI image is still convincing. You can tell it's not quite real though.
     
     I really hope it can't get to the point where we can't tell. A voiceover one almost got me - a fake joe rogan commercial.
