   Does Mastodon have a feature to auto-expand only CW posts that do / don’t have certain keywords?

   My use case: I find it annoying to have to expand the many, many posts that use CW as a sort of subject line, but would like to keep the ones that have the word “spoiler” hidden by default.

     @inthehands @standev Sorry, I thought the combination of CW expansion and filtering would hide the ones you don't want to see, while still displaying what you do want.

     I’m not wanting to •hide• posts from my TL; I’m just not wanting them auto-revealed. Maybe I want to see the spoiler! But I want that to be a choice.

     @inthehands I would try checking the "expand all CW posts" and also filtering on the word "spoiler." That's just an idea, but might be worth an experiment.

     It’s a good thought, but no, it doesn’t really work.

     The point of using CW spoilers is that you can write things like “Spoiler: The Jack Benny Show season 6,” so people know •what• the post spoils. But I filter “spoiler,” then all I see is what’s in the screenshot below. To view the CW to see what’s being spoiled, I have to view the whole post.

     @inthehands when you filter a post based on keywords (at least on my instance) it shows you that is has been hidden, but you can click to expand it.
