   @tchambers @jaz @wordshaper We use the peers mastodon api on a few instances to seed new domains which we then verify with nodeinfo and then start collecting stats from them periodically!

     @django @tchambers @jaz @wordshaper We mark them as inactive after 2 weeks and stop crawling and remove them from the servers list but the direct link still works, is that what you mean?

     @dansup @tchambers @jaz @wordshaper there are a bunch of dead sites on there, so I think the periodic collection isn't deleting sites yet...
