  @jihadjimmy tor implements a SOCKS proxy, so it can be used with any browser with SOCKS support.
  
  torsocks can also be used to add tor support to programs that don't support socks.
  
  Browsers are incredibly leaky and easy to fingerprint, so I really wouldn't use anything but Tor Browser or browsers that only show HTML, like lynx, w3m and eww with tor.

  There's only one way to connect through exit nodes, through the Tor network, and the only nonfree browser that has such implemented as far as I know is Brave, the rest is all free (Tor, Torsocks, Orbot and the Tor browser).

  You can easily be fingeprinted with CSS and other missfeatures.
  
  If you go enable "privacy.resistFingerprinting" in about:config, fingerprinting should be somewhat mitigated.
  
  As far as I can tell, Tor Browser is free by default and doesn't spy, while firefox by default is nonfree and spies until you clean it up.
