Name software better than gcc (clang generates slower output), ncurses, units, grub, GNUboot, aspell, GNU coreutils, gnupg, emacs, dico, GNU tar, GNU readline, make or autoconf, glibc and octave (heavily abridged, I probably should just list every single piece of GNU software).
