   Went to nearby mall with colleagues for bubble tea & sushi.

   In the car park, I tripped on uneven ground and face planted. As I, landed on my gods damned face.

   Luckily it seems nothing is broken and I probably don't have concussion.

   But we had centre management people come to take details and provide an icepack for my split lip, which was suitably dramatic.

   Back at work now and having a little lie down on the couch. Feeling okay but a bit shaky!

   No signs of concussion, phew.

     Kind of hilarious and ridiculous how things pile on top of each other.

     I'm already feeling somewhat disconnected from the world due to the temporary deafness.

     So it took me a while to figure out if my brain felt addled because of concussion, or just because it's already pretty weird having one of my senses suppressed.

     Anyway my colleagues took good care of me, I had a rest on a couch for a bit, and now I'm going home for the rest of the day.

     My balance was already not the best, and I suspect the ear stuff might have contributed.

     Also, I forgot to switch from my computer glasses to my multi-focals before we went out, so my vision was a bit compromised too. 🫤

     Yes I feel really lucky. I still can't believe that nothing was broken. My teeth, nose & glasses could all easily have taken more of the impact, and I could have had a more serious knock to my head.
