@IndyRichard@rjpartington they are an independent newspaper who favour impartial & accurate reporting. They were against Brexit, and they are against separation of the UK into little bits. I would say that’s a pretty solid, connected and reasonable position. Please don’t distort my criticism of one article by the Economics correspondent as damnation of an otherwise excellent publication, and please don’t use my posts on #Brexit to further your own separatist agenda.
@Robsterthermidor@rjpartington Here in Scotland during our independence referendum the Guardian joined rest of unionist press opposing Scottish self-determination. While they continue to publish interesting articles, at their heart what do they actually stand for? Not mentioning Brexit seems to be another example of following the herd.
Wow @rjpartington kind of amazed that you can write an article like this and not mention Brexit?
If we cannot name the causes of our problems we cannt solve them. Not sure what your game is, maybe you’re trying to keep Larry happy…but this head in the sand bullshit, overlooking reality is what Murdoch and Rothermere are for. Guardian readers deserve better.
@goatsarah@IndyRichard I don’t require your blessing or your sarcasm, just the evidence for your statement. Its easy Sarah, really, you just show the sources for where The Guardian actually ignite those transphobic culture wars and I’m right with you.
