   @Seanochicago @gutenberg_org @internetarchive At the same time, publishers, record labels, and the copyright cartel among others want to effectively kill libraries as we know them. It's why we need to support them now more than ever.

     I am reminded again that we are living in a library golden age.

     Ebooks and PDF book scanning has transformed research. Michael S. Hart invented the ebook and created #ProjectGutenberg. The #InternetArchive has an impressive collection of book scans, and even their restrictive limits (one hour borrowing) means I have amazing access to a reasearch library without leaving my couch.

     Thank you @gutenberg_org and @internetarchive, you’ve changed my life.
