Michael S. Hart invented the ebook and created <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/ProjectGutenberg" rel="tag">#ProjectGutenberg</a>. I am reminded again that we are living in a library golden age.
Ebooks and PDF book scanning has transformed research. Michael S. Hart invented the ebook and created #ProjectGutenberg. The #InternetArchive has an impressive collection of book scans, and even their restrictive limits (one hour borrowing) means I have amazing access to a reasearch library without leaving my couch.
