The Fediadventures continue in Rimworld. Now today it's time for a close call.

The show starts with Boadicea growing up. Look how fast they grow... Me and @HoolaHoolaNope are very proud of our daughter. As well, Chunkette grows up and i don't know if @Sui agrees but i've decided to give her passion in Melee and plants and make her awfully neurotic.

Soon after, a raid happens and again i managed the raiders very well. Unfortunately @null gets an infection in his foot, so he will be out for a while. In the meantime @BronzeAgeHogCranker helps himself to the organs of one of the survivors.

It is at this time that due to overabundance of coke and insect chitin i decide to gift a few tons of chitin to a trader caravan and now i'm friends with their people. So nice! But soon after there is a prision break and @null asks very politely that the prisioner returns to his cell. After not complying, the prisioner got bludgeoned very hard.

Afterwards, a pack of 11 giant crystal crabs invades the region and they mostly fall to my traps. Those that survive fall to @Doll and her pack of deadly mantises. The group celebrates the beginning of winter again while eating some delicious crystal crab quiche.

But now... The region is invaded by 3 thumbugus! My, and i want to kill those mountains of white mushrooms! And so, i lay a trap with @MeBigbrain taking a few potshots at them so they aggro and in their tard rage, they run into my bear traps and mantises. And the plan was a success!

After, i take a quest to get some plasteel in exchange for killing 4 bug colonies. The thing goes well after one of the scarabs steps into one of my beartraps and the whole hive goes apeshit and runs into my defenses. Even Boadicea gets to shoot some bugs with the sawn off shotty i gifted her!

And again, another tragedy happens... @Piss_Ant gets pregnant! Damn, so much for that 25% chance of pregnancy... I just hope you give birth to a girl or the Spinsters will exile you from the sisterhood!

Now something that was very close. A horde of 35 furries raided me and to my horror, they were packing some serious heat just to raid my Bad Dragon lube reserves. They rushed my defenses but they were just too many and they had LMGs, sniper rifles and one had a rocket launcher! I still managed to pull through thanks to the valian sacrifice of one of my bloodsucking moths, a maxolot and a mantis while all my other combat animals get downed.

Most of the weapons recovered were biocoded, so i can't use them to begin with. But his one has really made me worry about my defensive emplacements... I might need to expand the beart trap corridor or do the ultra cheesy sandbag labyrinth tactic.
