     @jihadjimmy @dushman Depending on instance, Invidious does work without JavaScript.
     
     I can confirm that https://yewtu.be/ works just fine without JS as it proxies, while it seems that https://tube.raccoon.quest/ doesn't proxy, so it seems that there's a HLS stream that is only playable with JavaScript.
     
     I only really use Invidious to search for videos myself and play them with mpv+yt-dlp and video searching seems to work just fine on tube.raccoon.quest.
