     @tyler @scalar @Turdicus I feel mixed on it. Ultimately it'll likely end up solved with AI. Those who are capable but with physical disabilities (e.g. lost hand in an industrial accident) will be able to use some type of adaptive tech or a communicating ai. Or society will collapse in a weird way (rust?) where it's just a slight tech dark age when a lot of cloud hosting and CDN type services fail from costs or other problems.

     @tyler @scalar @Turdicus I think so. I remember reading about "big data" when it first became a buzzword. Now it's everything. How many plugins and third party utilities are required for everything to run, and how frequently one of these has an issue with security or an oauth failure or compromises that expose millions of people's private data. It's like the tech version of industrial revolution compartmentalized anomie. Also feels like every program runs slower now that it's constantly fetching crap from the internet just to launch a basic program.
