     Erhmmm ACKCUALLY 🤓 as you can clearly see the slide is on the inside of the frame 🤓 which allows the pistol to have a low bore axis 🤓 which reduces felt recoil. 🤓 This design was mad popular by Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod 🤓 otherwise known as CZ with their 9x19mm pistol the CZ75 "Short Rail" which 🤓 is featured in Gunsmith Cats 🤓 🤓 🤓 🤓

     92fs have the barrel exposed on the top and eject the casing up it's weird once you see it Beretta likes to show off. 1911s have a huge slide like the Hellsing gun.

     obviously they're gonna implement it their own way, its not like several automobiles soviets manufactured on their factories and badged accordingly under agreement with the manufacturers that developed them, like fiat or ford (vaz 2101-2107 and gaz a/gaz aa respectively)

     You see a lot a similarites in firearms, but sometimes it's the opposite to what you think. Wehraboos and no gunz think the AK47 stole its design from the MP44 just because the silhouettes look similar, but the operating systems are completely different. The AK has more in common with the M1 Garand than it does with the Sturmgewehr as far as how it works.

     @splitshockvirus @grips @7666 idk with 5.56 cartridges being common it's as much of an assault rifle as it can get, minus it not having a pistol grip
     the front grip is pretty badly positioned imho, i think it's very easy to accidentally dislodge the mag as you're firing it if you took it up for the first time, i'd move it like 15-20 mm forward

     Not even that, because you guys Imperial Russia had (a reletively small number) of these Fedorov Avtomat. And the only reason people don't consider it the "first" assault rifle is because it shoots 6.5 Arisaka Rifle, and not what is considered an "intermediate" cartridge.

     From my understanding the AK was supposed to be classified as a sub machine gun in the mindset of Soviet war doctrine.

     they go pew or BANG and make a hole in the other guy, sometimes the hole is straight-through and that means he's fucked or sometimes the hole isn't straight-through and the bullet is stuck there, and since it's lead it's also gonna mean he's fucked unless he gets proper first aid
