@deprecated_ii@Ariovistus@MeBigbrain@Some_German_Guy@anonaccount Toilet paper was gone fast here, and stayed gone for a like a month or so before they restocked. When people started hording other stuff, that is when the manger of my local supermarket up those "no hording" signs
I never saw anyone buying large quantities of anything here, except I saw some chink woman buying up all the masks from home depot before most people in the US knew anything was happening
@Titanbreakerkun@MeBigbrain@Some_German_Guy@anonaccount I don't think "hoarding" of TP and paper towels is nearly as big a thing as people make it out to be. The products are just very bulky, stores therefore don't stock that many packs, and if a small fraction of the customer base is prompted to buy sooner than they usually would the store gets cleaned out
@MeBigbrain@Some_German_Guy@anonaccount I have no idea, but damn it was dumb. My local supermarket set up signs saying "hey no hording, we get fresh shipments all week, there is enough for everybody"
@Some_German_Guy@Titanbreakerkun@anonaccount While I'm hopeful they were able to derail globohomos plan to turn their country into a giant brown megacity, it just seems unlikely that a plan on that scale just goes away.
Then again, Ukraine has gone to war since, and since Ukraine was a massive exporter of grain, maybe the evil faggots in charge have realized the value of countries having their own agriculture.
@MeBigbrain@Titanbreakerkun@anonaccount ever since the coof startet seemingly before it was supposed to, most of there plans have been falling apart. now with the war in israel, thats even more obvious. your right the plans do still exist, but the idea of global homogenization is pretty much out the door. and zog has big problems wrangling there golem into this new lane of thinking. i think thats why there is so much infighting these days.
@Titanbreakerkun@anonaccount now im interested in how the dutch farmer protest has been going. last i heard the state temporarily stopped the land seizures, and the farmers were forming a political party. not a word since, giving into account that there were no bad news either, thats probably a good sign.
