     Facebook's newer products, such as Threads, Metaverse, and other AR initiatives, are gradually losing user interest. However, they still have Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook, not to mention ongoing privacy scandals. Is there a better alternative out there? I would not be shocked if users abandoned them in favor of something superior when alternatives come out.      @nixCraft there would be Friendica for Facebook. But the devs have no talent in developing user friendly menus/interface. Most things are counter-intuitive.
     There's Pixelfed for Insta and Element for WhatsApp. Element has this issue that you cannot turn off verifications and are constantly buzzed whenever you login (from your other device).
     Rumour says, Friendica will be updated soon. I'm curios how the whole menu system will work.

     @nixCraft I think Meta is kinda „boomer’s thing”. Young people were never there, I guess they favour TikTok and other things catering to that ADD short attention span…

     @thanius I ment people born after 2000 and even later… They’re not on Facebook, that’s boring. They prefer short form media, like TikTok. That’s why everyone tried reels, fleets, shorts…🤷🏻♂️ @nixCraft
