  @eria @burner @deprecated_ii @latein I switched to talking about a different problem and it actually just gave me some pretty good advice...
  
  It's hard to describe because its not exactly spitting our genius solutions but more very clearly enumerating the problem space I'm working in and breaking things down into clear subproblems to solve. Even if these are things I already knew it's nice to have "conformation" clearly listed out in bullet points

  @burner @latein @deprecated_ii I was just trying it to get some info on how to complete a task related to windows file system and it got things very very wrong. Like "possibly fuck up your system if you copy paste it" wrong :abyss:

  @RustyCrab @deprecated_ii getting help from chatGPT for my programming assignments is agony, it'll refuse to read your console log, write paragraphs explaining your code top-level, make your code worse and pretend that it's fixed

  @latein @deprecated_ii I haven't tried chatgpt at all for programming. The one time I used it was to translate a comment from another language and I have no way to verify that its right.
  
  That said I try to use Microsoft products as little as possible because MS is great at starting things and horrible at finishing them
