   I assume this is about that conference where a straight man said we need more straight male allies; can someone please explain why individuals who identify as non-men and non-women want to be included in women’s conferences?

   Legitimate answers only. This happened with Roe v Wade was overturned, you know, self identified non men and non women wanting to be included in the conversation about women’s rights.

     @teratology bluntly, I support men at women's tech conferences, because sex shouldn't be a disqualifier for things. These places absolutely should not be allowed to recruit women's specifically. There should be no job opportunities denied to men on the basis of their sex. So, men who bypass bullshit gender filters by pretending to be non-binary or pretending to be "trans" are in the right.

     @NEETzsche I don’t think you understand what these conferences are for. I won’t engage because I know what your views are and that you believe that white men are the only demographic alongside the model minority you deem worthy of a technical role.

     So, men who bypass bullshit gender filters by pretending to be non-binary or pretending to be “trans” are in the right.

     I don’t see “pretending” to be any more or less harmful than claiming to be apart of a demographic you’re not apart of. People love to scapegoat pretending to disqualify someone from certain demographics, like religion. “No true scottsman”. It’s all the same in the end.

     @teratology The price you pay for sex-based discrimination being forbidden is it's a two way street. The same applies to race-based discrimination. If you gripe about this discrimination against you (you just did) while insisting on having go to your benefit (you just did) is a hypocrisy so egregious that it merits criminal consequences. Jail time, lashes. It's unacceptable, and I'm not accepting it.

     Do you actually think discrimination is somehow better when it’s to your benefit or are you just a psychopath looking for a pretext?

     I'm against laws that prohibit employment discrimination as a whole. I've seen what these laws are and how they work, I think we need more discrimination and not less.

     It's a DEI conference that aims to exclude me on the basis of my sex because the people in it know they can't compete with me without that kind of discrimination. If you want me to stop pointing out that you are discriminating against me, then stop discriminating against me. It's that simple.

     I don't have to discriminate against you. That's the thing.      It’s ironic for you to insist that I’m discriminating against you because you hate the idea of these conferences, while discriminating against me because of my sex and race. Let’s not pretend that it’s the first time you’ve gone out of your way to do this to me, because you did it a lot in DMs and other public threads before. And yet, you have the audacity to say that the world is set against you.

     @Zerglingman Narnia? Nah, Nevada is basically just ancapistan, which means in practice that you can get cheap accommodations for this sort of thing. A lot of conferences and conventions and that sort of thing host in Nevada for this reason.

     @Zerglingman Had to look it up. If you care to know, Nevada and nearby States like Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and the western half of Texas, are what inspired the Wild West. If you visit, even now, you will see what I mean about the Wild West culture. It's unhinged, you can do basically whatever the fuck you want legally, and what law they do have is difficult to enforce because there aren't many cops. There are some lawmen, but realistically, I'm pretty sure you could get away with mass murder outside of Las Vegas if you're smart about it and I'm entirely certain you could get away with regular murder inside of Las Vegas if you're smart about it. For this reason it's advisable to carry a gun.
     
     So a White plurality, with lots of Mexicans and injuns mixed in.
