HistoPol (#HP) 🥥 🌴 (histopol@mastodon.social)'s status on Monday, 02-Oct-2023 17:44:46 JST HistoPol (#HP) 🥥 🌴 You can Upload them to Youtube and get them to generate subtitles for you, if you cannot find the lyrics on the web.(MUCH easier!)
These subtitles can then be downloaded (advanced IT know-how necessary for FOSS installations).
Using online translators like https://www.deepl.com/translator you can understand the text.
So, hopefully you find the lyrics on the web. Mostly, they are there.
Good luck!

HistoPol (#HP) 🥥 🌴 (histopol@mastodon.social)'s status on Monday, 02-Oct-2023 19:40:18 JST HistoPol (#HP) 🥥 🌴 Yes, but getting it downloaded from there using ffmpeg and YT (downloader) is not for beginners in this area. I needed quite a bit of help for the setup (originall not a FOSS person.)
Once you have it, it is in three respects apparently better than Whisper:
1) can do lyrics from songs (Whisper not)
2) only energy as direct costs
3) much faster as Google's datacenter beets almost any home installation.
Enjoy!
