@zaitcev it wasn't so much the getting paid part I wondered about, I just didn't know if like, they directly join the Ukraine military or if they join a private military org that is contracted.
@Moon One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Same applies to deluded pawns of the globohomo. Certainly they get paid, but they also volunteer.
@crunklord420 I don't understand how people can keep such rapidly changing, conflicting beliefs in their heads without going crazy unless the npc meme is real
@Moon reminder that Ian from Forgotten Weapons was going to publish a memoir of a foreign Azov soldier prior to special operation Z but the globohomo leftoids tried to cancelled him because this was before Azov was whitewashed by western state media. Also the modernfirearms.ru pulled out of his business dealings with Ian after he heard about it.
@Moon they're really just signing up and fighting as cannon fodder, at least in the earlier parts of the war. I feel like anyone still out there are probably veteran war tourists.
It still blows my mind how the westoid governments are kinda implying it's okay but in reality it's almost certainly illegal due to ISIS and all that.
@Moon@crunklord420 it's really simple Russia bad NeoNazis fight Russians Ergo Nazi Germany good It is literally that simple there is nothing complicated here to overthink This is how the human brain works All terms in the human brain connected to A strong emotion will all share that strong emotion
@lebronjames75@crunklord420 I think I understand basically why it happens in Ukraine, there are historical reasons and they have to make practical compromises but I forget all the time that for americans terms like fascist and democracy are just flavors that don't have concrete meaning
@Moon Another interview here, although it takes about half an hour to get to traveling to Ukraine and you get a flavour of the types of people turning up there: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=4LcUj47_7S4
that's the same for most people, I think. Nearly everyone will use 'nazi' and 'fascist' interchangeably, even if the nazis didn't think of themselves as fascists, for example.
