   "astounding levels of racism that white queer and trans fedi is spewing right now"

   I mean, I genuinely can't speak to that given the problems with being able to see replies and stuff that Black Fedi has pointed out, but given the amount of times Ro has insisted that anyone who is upset with them or the bad space and their handling of these issues must be a racist, I'm inclined to doubt this. This just sounds like more name-calling and narcissistic attempts to avoid accountability to me.

   To my knowledge the narrative is not that they are transphobic, but that the sources they pulled from are.

   "So many of you are desperately trying to fashion what you are reading as Black masculinity into a cudgel to use against them while using trans femininity as your shield, all so you dont have to address your whiteness."

   I've not seen that at all, what I've seen is defenders of the bad space using their non-whiteness (and the very real problems the fedi has with racism) as a shield from criticism, and using white trans women's masculinity and perceived male socialization and whiteness as a cudgel against critics — even to the point of assuming that critical, upset black trans women are white!

   "you are not entitled to immunity from the consequences of your own actions"

   The entire reason people are angry is because a bunch of trans and queer instances were given consequences, without prior actions garnering them. I don't think most of the people angry with the bad space are angry bc they're racists who've finally got their comeuppance, as Ro's rhetoric would have you believe, it's because they and their friends are innocents who were accused of "hate speech, bigotry, and poor moderation" with no cause and then when they got upset about that (instead of just quietly and meekly coming to Ro and asking him to take them off the slander list like good little people) and concerned about how TheBadSpace has been handled overall, he just kept accusing them of being racist.

     Honestly this whole fucking tactic from #TheBadSpace defenders of insisting that the trans women who are upset with them and their disingenuous, dismissive, downplaying, darvo rhetoric are just racist and incapable of overcoming their whiteness sounds very much like the way conservatives use sexualization of children and pedophilia as cudgels against... oh look, trans women again! All you have to do is accuse us of something that everyone agrees is very bad and then it becomes impossible for anyone to defend us because it sounds like they are defending the bad thing, and it becomes impossible for us to defend ourselves because that's what bad-thingers would say. And this works especially well on trans women because we are entitled white women Karen's when it's convenient and male socialized manly male men when it's convenient and you can just rhetorically put us in whatever pigeonhole is convenient for you in the moment to discount what we say.

     I've spent basically the last two days trying to tease out and articulate and examine this deeply disingenuous rhetoric, and it's been an incredibly nerve-wracking process because these constant accusations mean there's this toxic reek around everything so that if you touch it you can very easily end up accused of terrible things without ever doing anything — see Welsh Pixie putting someone on fediblock as using racist slurs because they bleeped out the word asshole even though asshole doesn't even have the same number of letters as any slurs — and at the same time, there's this constant self doubt that's very much weaponized by the people that use this rhetoric, where, because you actually do genuinely care about the issues that these people are co-opting, you wonder if you truly are whatever bad thing it is and just aren't able to notice it because half the rhetoric around this is about how if you're a bad thing you won't know if you're bad thing.

     @anarchopunk_girl Not only that. The cause is sought and found in “white male socialization” of said trans women. And that this should be “beaten out of them”. And yes, I have receipts.
