@gray iPhones remaining proprietary will sadly actually end up attracting "foss" proponents.
That's because "foss" supporters only seem to care about what they believe to be convenience (even if a certain thing is the complete opposite of convenience).

@gray Yes, real simplicity and convenience is a good thing.
Proprietary software simply doesn't work for me as a lot of effort is put into faking simplicity and convenience, but there's pretty much nothing for actually implementing it.
I use free software out of principle, but there's always practical superiority too.

@Suiseiseki Simplicity and convenience is a good thing though. Why would you want to use something that doesn’t work for you? Simply out of principle?
