   The only product I’m immediately interested from #AppleEvent is an AirPods Pro charging case with USB-C. It’s not available for purchase yet, but given the cost of the existing cases, its price will likely be around $100.
   Which is hard to justify for replacing an otherwise great working device just for the convenience of carrying one less cable

     Oh well, I guess this resolves the dilemma. Definitely not shelling out money for the new pair of AirPods.

     Just one of the reasons I would never buy an iPhone...
     customers are not drug addicts, the #RottenApple should learn.

     I'm not sure how that would look like, but if it extends the length of the plug, creating a longer lever, I would be hesitant to use it or only with a lot of caution--every time--Not a fun product, then.

     I've got a magnetic latch adapter on a phone - but then I have to use a magnetic latch charging cable.

     Good for removing ~98% chance of damage to charging port when using while charging though.
     Though a drop on the adaptor onto concrete - who knows?

     Had a nice reply - picture and all - app ate it.

     The above pic is of a Samsung phone.
     A very chunky add-on protective case might require a bit of knife work.

     The adaptors are socket specific - USB micro, Apple-fancy-wire, maybe USB mini. You need the mag latch charging cable too though.

     This model and mine have a fairly bright purple LED in the phone charging cable. Not nice. A couple of coats of black paint or nail polish should tame that.
     Also if on the floor, the end of the cable can find magnetic grit. Brush off with old toothbrush
