BowserNoodle ☦️ (bowsacnoodle@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 12-Sep-2023 16:32:01 JST BowserNoodle ☦️ Farmer types can as I understand it. Pretty lame to restrict guns especially over what seems in hindsight to be a really sketchy situation. -

BowserNoodle ☦️ (bowsacnoodle@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 12-Sep-2023 16:34:02 JST BowserNoodle ☦️ TBH I'd rather have a competent smonarch than "democracy" in our current age. At least the blame can be pinned on one person who answers to and is accountable to the people. -

sj_zero (sj_zero@social.fbxl.net)'s status on Wednesday, 13-Sep-2023 12:27:43 JST sj_zero Honestly, having a king as a head of state figurehead in the English commonwealth doesn't mean anything. It just means that you have the parliament passing whatever laws and then a governor general to rubber stamp the laws. If the king's governor general ever refused to sign a law, it would be a major crisis. BowserNoodle ☦️ likes this. -

BowserNoodle ☦️ (bowsacnoodle@poa.st)'s status on Wednesday, 13-Sep-2023 12:28:58 JST BowserNoodle ☦️ We could always move away from common law. I'm a fan of spirit of the law over letter, because it makes lawyer tomfoolery into something that can be handwaved away by judge Gigachad.
