tamas 🦀 (tamas@hachyderm.io)'s status on Saturday, 09-Sep-2023 21:22:09 JST tamas 🦀 @thomasfuchs @graydon We lost. People think it’s not affecting them. If it does, it’s something else. If someone dies of covid in their circles, it’s the vaccines to blame. If someone dies of anything else suddenly, it’s again the vaccine’s fault. No amount of data and rational reasoning will get to them.

Eniko | Kitsune Tails out now! (eniko@peoplemaking.games)'s status on Sunday, 10-Sep-2023 00:06:18 JST Eniko | Kitsune Tails out now! @egorFiNE @thomasfuchs nah man we shouldn't continue to wear masks, we should instead continue to catch covid 2-3 times a year, a disease which gives you cardiovascular damage, strokes, brain damage, nerve damage, diabetes, chronic fatigue, lung damage, and dementia. among many other things. and the risk of all of those goes up geometrically the more times you get infected
no, i'd say masking is a terrible alternative to that 🙄

Nazo (nazokiyoubinbou@mastodon.social)'s status on Sunday, 10-Sep-2023 00:26:47 JST Nazo @thomasfuchs I truly can't understand what is even going on in people's heads at this point. When SARS-CoV-2 first was discovered I thought we'd all do a proper lockdown, tracking, etc etc like any sane species with an average IQ higher than a brick would do. But lockdowns all ended early, testing was virtually non-existent, there was zero tracking, etc. It never got under control and now it's basically permanent. As a species humanity can only be called insane right now.
