     Thanks for the warning.

     We must be careful not to stop finding this kind of DataFarming as shocking as it is. But it's hardly unique. Windows and other BorgSoft products do it. All the Meta apps do it. Apple devices do it. It's the standard business model of surveillance capitalism.

     @raccoon @semioticstandard just use a real and better browser. Preferably not with the same engine as Chromium.

     Took me an hour to switch from Chrome to FF, with all settings, passwords, user styles, etc. migrated. Not too long, for my taste.
     
     The only thing that bothers me in FF is its cramped design; I wish I could have a bit more space between the buttons, the bookmark entries, etc. But otherwise, I'll give FF a try for some time.

     And I managed to change the space...
     about:config > layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and chnaged it from -1.0 to 1.2. Nice.
