   @dansup @kite @pixelfed makes sense. I don't see a problem with this considering its going to be OSS anyway, presumably with its git history too.

     @dansup @kite @pixelfed Unrelated, but do you have plans to make a native linux client? I would offer myself but I dont think I'm there with my skills yet

     @dansup @imadnyc @kite @pixelfed You can maybe keep an archive git repo with all these commits as is, and then another repo for the actual app. Both problems solved
