@sarahquartz @mo educated fascists were and are a very common thing — they just hide it better. The is-ought gap is real: no amount of facts will tell someone whether to care or how to feel about something.

@falcennial I mean, education is about teaching facts and critical thinking and such, not telling people how to feel about things and what to care, that's my entire point, and no amount of facts and critical thinking will effect someone's value system. So no amount of education will fix a fascist. And once again, many fascists are highly educated and many highly educated people are fascists, historically. You're just being classist and also making bizarre assumptions about how people work.
