Owen Blacker (owenblacker@dataare.cool)'s status on Friday, 01-Sep-2023 20:48:19 JST Owen Blacker @Polypompholyx @stavvers @Ellen @goatsarah I read an interesting thing forever ago about how we could work out when humans started wearing clothes based on the genetic differences between clothes lice and the other 2 human lice species.
Humans have had crabs and nits for long enough that there are at least *fewer* capital-Q Questions about their closeness to parasites of other primates, mind 😅

Unsung heros of human happiness, and a beautiful cross-over between biology, engineering and public health 💩 We used to do* our Boxing Day constitutional walk through Mogden Works in Twickenham and raise a glass.
