Sometimes I randomly remember that many of the people who I communicate with on here are severely mentally ill.
It's really something.

Imagine thinking that 99% of our beliefs have any real effect on anything other than the reaction of other humans. Oh no... bro believes the earth is flat.

I figured out I was a piece that didn't fit anywhere a long time ago and stopped trying to please the rest of the puzzle.

@MelGibsonafter4Beers Some of my best friends irl are schizoids. At some point it becomes irrelevant, because normalcy is quantified as "doing every single thing as government told them".

Even newton's laws are just a form of algebra / alchemy. For example, if body in motion doesn't stay in motion, there is an outside force is always true by definition. The outside force is just a solve for X that accounts for the cessation of motion. Whether the outside force is "real" is not an issue. Much of science is like this, but NPCs want to make the issue about whether something is real or not.
As my metaphysics professor once told me, it's not about which of the heliocentric or geocentric models is correct, it's about how much math you want to do to explain the motion of Mars.

@Hoss @Humpleupagus @MelGibsonafter4Beers People point out "muh flat Earth" because its easy to mock. "See them? Well, they dont belive government, too, this makes YOU stupid!" They silenced epstein, but you are not supposed to think about it, you are supposed to forget about it, but muh flat Earth is mentioned every day. Gravity equations dont work, so "scientists" have to invent "invisible, untraceable, magical dark matter" which only exists to "prove" them correct. But gravity is considered to be "done proven science" despite not passing "universally applicable" test and turning into pure fiction powered by magic. Whole mockery always aimed at the lowest point, which everyone can understand.

I love genuinely convincing retards I believe the earth is flat because how they react is a really good measuring stick of what kind of person they are. If they get really angry and frustrated with me over something that literally does not matter a single bit I know they're a faggot who can't handle hearing anything but what they've been told is true.

It's the perfect illustrative tool for showing someone how they believe things to be self-evident without ever making the objective observations about the reality they inhabit themselves. True or not, they defer to an authority who did the thinking for them. This is the opposite of being educated.

I always love asking them to give me a study proving the objects of the study they're referencing.
> Oh..... can you show me a double blind study proving that the fruit flies that you referenced in your study about evolution actually exist as a class of beings or are you just presuming that? How do I know there isn't just this thing here and that thing there and that you're mistaken about grouping them into a class? Prove it with science or gtfo! 😏

@Hoss @Humpleupagus @MelGibsonafter4Beers And most people dont "know" its a sphere, they literally just "believe" it is, because they cant even tell the difference between a circle and a sphere. Their entire understanding of universe is "there are some balls flying around because science".

NPCs think men of the past were just idiots who believed in woo-woo, but they came up with math to make the geocentric model work. Sure, they were working with a incomplete set of information about physics and the solar system, but they didn't believe it just to believe it. Dark Matter is just the modern iteration of the geocentric model.
