   Side of my house this morning.
   
   Not the biggest wolf spider I have seen, but she was pretty big and posing for me with a cricket in her mouth (that is smaller than her head).
   
   Those are cinder blocks, not bricks. Quarter courageously put on top of the 2X4 she was under to further help with scale.

Know why there are old world pigeons in the colonies? They were intentionally released because they breed like rats and are apparently pretty good eating. I wouldn't eat a random city-dwelling pigeon though.😅 They don't look too healthy...

     Same, it is like dark meat turkey or chicken but worse. Just not enough fat to flavor it.
     
     But the squirrels are very similar. So if society collapses they could be a good source of protein.
