   @doot I am a trans woman with 3 PC's, an Atari ST, and multiple SoCs. Around April I started learning Z80 assembly, and since then I have ported CP/M 3 to a new Z80 board.
   The sad part is, in the 43 years of my life I have not met a single person who would share even one of those interests.

     @stefanie first things first, I’d say go follow @nikki . They run the topspicy.social instance which is full of retro nerds, especially those who lean queer or queer-adjacent. I’ll think of more later on when I’m at a computer. Kind of hard from a phone.

     I would recommend @jonn_blanchard and everyone on retrochat.online and oldbytes.space , and @ChinnyVision who does multi format reviews and comparisons of the old games

     @stefanie @doot Showed my girlfriend CP/M running on a ZX Spectrum Next core this week. Have thought about obtaining a Z80 board to play with, if anyone could recommend one. I would build one myself but don't have space to solder these days

     @trcwm No, i didn't know that podcast. This is the board i am using:
     https://github.com/Z80-Retro

     It's a rather simple SBC with Z80, CTC, SIO, 512k RAM and 128k ROM, and a questionably implemented SD card interface that shares an IO port with the RAM banking.

     The original designer wrote a CP/M 2.2 BIOS for it, and I took that as a start to write a CP/M3 BIOS. The only thing left from the original is the SPI code for the SD card.
