I've pulled together all the tools i'm hosting online onto https://www.re-enthused.com - in a menu item called retro tools. It has my in-progress tools like Sprix and Scrn - a pixel editor and screen editor for the spectrum, PlayTZX and PlayUEF tools by rpocc and 8bitkick and Muxi - my very still in development midi to spectrum music converter

Received some memory for the Sun Ultra 30 - ended up being cheaper to get it from the US than from the UK

Unfortunately, the first ram slots I need are covered by the PSU however, in the Sun the PSU can just be slid backwards after undoing 4 captive screws

A bit of a mixture of ram, and some room to add more. I’m pretty sure I was expecting 768mb not 512 …. I’ll need to check that out

Obviously you need a better understanding of how big the Ultra 30 is - so here I’m using the standard retro measuring tool, a Sinclair Spectrum

I guess i'll throw out a positive thing. I might have issues with this whole Commodore thing, but from what people tell me it looks like it will be cheaper to buy it from them than getting the bits separately. So that's something

Neat - outer cover isn’t in a great state, but the vinyl seems pretty good

A new version of the Sinclair Spectrum port of Jurl is available, with the addition of a poor rendition of Fur Elise this marks the 1.0 release.

As such i've made it $1 now, which will help finance future games.

Blimey, it’s a day of deliveries. After a retro deliver we have a slightly more modern one - slightly in the sense that it’s not usable for another 7 days. Yes I bought the most expensive edition of Starfield - but it’s the only game I’ve been looking forward to for a long time #games

The key to Mastodon’s growth isn’t stopping corporations from joining, it’s making sure they realise they aren’t making the rules. Instantly blocking them isn’t always going to be the best response, treat them the same way you treat all other servers, if they behave then fine, if not then there are tools to deal with them
