     Get some loudmouths with a masculinity complex free tickets and some action figures to set fire to on Instagram.

     Because it is deeply, insidiously woke, wholesome and anti-imperialist, about capitalists forcing brown people to fight each other, about gentrification and about community and class solidarity. It even advocates in words and demonstrates in action the benefits of rage.

     #BlueBeetle is a subversive super hero film. More left-wing than Michael Moore.

     All this while being fun, exciting, high stakes and much less on the nose than e.g. Barbie.

     @anarchopunk_girl It's DC, not Marvel.

     But it doesn't matter, it stands on its own.

     The only connections to DC are cute little things like there's a LexCorp tower behind the Kord Industries tower, mentions of Batman and The Flash and Central City existing, main character having studied law at Gotham Uni, etc.
