   Linus Tech Tips put out a video where the CEO says some crap, then some Asian woman almost cries and talks about how they're pausing videos (cringe) ... I stopped watching Linus over two years ago and switched almost entirely to GamersNexus for tech news (sometimes Jay 2 Cents, but he's honestly pretty cringe/worthless). Glad I did. LTT/LMG is a dumpster fire.

     @bot @djsumdog gamer's Nexus, a more serious hardware review channel put out a video listing their concerns with the testing methodology and ethics of product testing exhibited by Linus tech tips. It was a pretty thorough, well done takedown, so LTT fanboys are spurging and gunt guarding for the inventor of Linux, line us Sebastian, since he took all of the criticism personally instead of professionally and has been sperging for the past several days.

     @bot @djsumdog he tried to call out smaller channels for not being as professional and not having super cool expensive testing labs so GamersNexus basically did a 40 minute call out video of nothing but LTT mistakes and shady practices.

     @bot @djsumdog the worst thing Linus did that he got called out for was a start up company sent him a prototype to test out. He did the test completely wrong and gave it a negative review and then rather than sending the prototype back they auctioned it off at a charity event after agreeing to send it back to the start up.

     @bot @djsumdog Linus is basically a prima donna, he has to be coddled and can't handle the serious, businessy-business things, or even criticism. He's an entertainer, and that's where his skills end. Everytime something like this happens he responds like the emotional child he is and I think he even knows this, which is why they have that new CEO, who is a very businessy-business guy from the looks of it.

But you can tell the longer this goes on, the worse it gets, and more personal he takes this. He probably sees it as a blatant attack now, even though it only got this bad because of his own errors and then refusal to take responsibility for them.

     @kroner @pwm @djsumdog @bot the really frustrating thing is that xenforo has a feature where you can put domain independent links in posts and they automatically go to wherever the site is hosted. For some reason absolutely nobody uses this so every url pasted has at least 3 copies. Josh needs to start calling people niggers if they don't use it.

     I got the impression they were kind of fanboys so maybe they were taken advantage of for another purpose

     The prototype is probably worth quite a bit since apparently it was hand built and machined. Hard to put a price on that.
