Mr. Mojo Risin' (dude@varishangout.net)'s status on Monday, 14-Aug-2023 10:24:20 JST Mr. Mojo Risin' @DrRyanSkelton @ChristiJunior @luithe I've done extensive research on 8bitdo and those dpads cant register inputs fast enough or it has a difficult time recognizing diagonals. I think its going to be a much bigger problem for more intense games like contra. -

Berkeley Berkman (berkberkman@bae.st)'s status on Monday, 14-Aug-2023 10:24:19 JST Berkeley Berkman @Dude @ChristiJunior @DrRyanSkelton @luithe Finding out what the best D-Pad is in general is hard without feeling each one. What's your favorite that you wish were recreated or applied to a newer controller? For me, it's the old Genesis gamepad.

?? Humpleupagus ?? (humpleupagus@eveningzoo.club)'s status on Monday, 14-Aug-2023 10:40:43 JST ?? Humpleupagus ?? Yes. I've always like the feel of the original snes game pad. I've never liked handles. Thr PS1 style controller just felt awkward, and the N64 and GC controllers were just all kinds of wrong.
Dual shock is a plus though, as is the extra analog triggers. Dual shock comes in handy even on old arcade games like Robotron or Smash TV, because you can set one to move and the other to control the direction of fire. -
